    From Our Website

Forum Communications Printing will remain open to assist you in any way we can. We're considered an essential business due to the types of businesses we print and mail for, and because we are a part of a communications/newspaper/broadcasting company. We've made some changes, along with all of you, to help keep our employees and our customers safe. We're following all of the suggested cleanliness and disinfecting guidelines, many of our non-production employees are now working from home, and we've restricted visitors to vendors that we need to keep the plant running smoothly.

Forum Communications Printing is owned by Forum Communications Company. Since our inception in Fargo, ND, in 1878, Forum Communications Company (FCC) has grown from a local newspaper into a Midwest multimedia leader, serving clients across the United States. FCC is comprised of four core divisions: newspaper, broadcast, interactive media and commercial printing/mailing. Our facilities are located in North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Very few commercial printers can match our broad range of services including printing, mailing, fulfillment, consulting and data analysis.

Don't have a designer on staff? No problem! Our award-winning design team can assist with any project. Postcards, brochures, magazines - you name it. In addition to creating the look of your printed piece, our team can make suggestions in other areas. Postal regulations are constantly changing. With our knowledge of USPS regulations, we can make sure your project is designed to achieve the maximum postage discounts available to you, saving you money. Small changes, such as moving an address orientation or shaving 1/8 off of the size of a piece that mails, can result in dramatic postage savings for you.

At Forum Communications Printing, we know that the quality of your printed piece starts with files that are prepared properly. We've made it easy for you, by giving you a checklist for file preparation and step-by-step instructions on preparing PDF files along with our Photoshop color settings to ensure the most accurate reproduction possible. This will help a CMYK file displayed on your monitor in Photoshop to look as close as possible to a proof or final printed piece. Also if you convert from RGB, grayscale or LAB to CMYK it will help to convert the image optimized for printing.

We offer you a number of bindery options that we can produce in-house. These include: saddle-stitching, perfect binding, plastic coil and in-line gluing. We also have strategic vendor partners that allow us to provide you with other bindery processes such as hard covers or wire-o binding.

Since every piece you print may serve a different purpose or be seen by a different audience, having choices on your coatings is crucial. Want a super high gloss finish? Go with our UV coating. It will make your color pop and also offer protection to your piece. Aqueous coatings provide a spectrum of options ranging from soft touch (which has a soft, almost waxy feel to it) to dull, to a gloss finish. Varnish options include dull, matte or gloss.
